Ammie Jo's journey began in the United States Air Force, where she served proudly for six years as a Medical Technician. Her service instilled in her a strong sense of discipline, resilience, and a deep appreciation for the opportunities afforded to her by her country.
After her time in the Air Force, Ammie Jo decided to pursue her academic aspirations, choosing Virginia Tech as her next chapter. She is currently studying Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
